I'm presently a writer and game designer looking for work at a video game company while living up near Raleigh, NC. I also married sruna on Halloween 2006. Them's the basics, peoples.
Pleroma means various things in general, one in Jungian theory, one in Gnosticism and another in mystical/spiritual ways of thinking.
Pleroma in Gnostic/Christian thinking is referred to as: This world is therefore alien to God, who is for the Gnostics' depth and silence, beyond any name or predicate, the absolute, the source of good spirits who together form the pleroma, or realm of light. It also means fullness, as in the fullness of God.
Pleroma in other spiritual realms of thinking means: The Pleroma is the fullness of the spiritual world, uninfluenced by matter, energy or light. It is also known as the place where the different spiritual realms exist.
Pleroma in Jungian theory is discussed in: One of these conceptual pairs, "Pleroma and Creatura", is proposed by C. G. Jung in "VII Sermones ad Mortuos (The Seven Sermons to the Dead)". In this book, Jung seems to suggest that Pleroma is a kind of Universal Intelligence, for he says: "A thing that is infinite and eternal hath no qualities, since it hath all qualities. This nothingness or fullness we name the PLEROMA." On the other hand, he seems to be indicating that Creatura is matter where Universal Intelligence can be manifested, as, according to Jung, "what is changeable ... is creatura", and "distinctiveness is creatura."
I'm someone who needs to get off their ass and actually buckle down and start writing - whether for just writing's sake or to build a portfolio to get into an M.F.A. program in Creative Writing.
I've also noticed that people are attracted to reading LiveJournal with the same morbid fascination people like staring at a grisly car wreck. I'm not going to bare my soul here, I'm going to bring up little bits of off-the-cuff philosophy that pop into my head, discuss interesting points of view, do my writing experiments and hopefully entertain the reader.
Plus, I'm presently the main emcee of the Hearthstone Tavern podcast for World of Warcraft fans of roleplaying and lore.
Some changes have been made to LiveJournal, and we hope you enjoy them! As we continue to improve the site on a daily basis to make your experience here better and faster, we would greatly appreciate your feedback about these changes. Please let us know what we can do for you!
